On August 1, 2025, Ankai Micro officially launched the AK1037 series low-power lock control SoC chip designed specifically for smart locks. This series of chips integrates core functions such as fingerprint recognition acceleration, RFID card recognition, BLE, touch buttons, and voice broadcasting, achieving a high level of integration. A high-performance, ultra-low-power system platform and “turnkey” application solution based on the AK1037 series chip has been completed. This application solution can also be extended to scenarios such as attendance access control, home appliance control panels, and charging piles.

RISC-V Core Empowers High Performance and High Integration

1. Strong Computing Power Foundation:
● 32-bit RISC-V CPU @300MHz: Supports instruction set extensions to meet differentiated development needs of manufacturers; ensures efficient parallel operation of fingerprint recognition, edge algorithms, and BT protocol stack.
● XIP (Execute In Place) technology: Supports executing code directly from Flash, reducing dependence on external RAM and simplifying system design.
2. Large Capacity Storage Configuration:
● 218KB SRAM: Supports efficient operation of memory-intensive algorithms such as fingerprint recognition.
● 2MB/4MB Flash: Integrated storage for firmware, fingerprint template library, and user data, eliminating the need for external storage.
● 42KB Retention SRAM: Designed for sleep scenarios, can stably retain key data such as lock status and pairing information in low-power mode.
3. Dedicated Hardware Acceleration and Security Engine:
● Built-in IHA (Image Hardware Accelerator), accelerates fingerprint image processing and feature extraction, significantly improving fingerprint recognition processing efficiency.
● Built-in security engine provides hardware-level security protection for sensitive information such as fingerprint data and user passwords.
4. Rich Interfaces and Peripherals:
● Input Interaction: Supports Type A/B RFID, compatible with mainstream access control card standards; 15-channel touch buttons (Touch Key), with independent sensitivity configuration for each channel.
● Wireless and Audio: Built-in BLE module, supports mobile connection, configuration management, and OTA upgrades; 24-bit Audio DAC replaces traditional VPWM solution, outputting high-fidelity voice.
5. Highly Integrated Power Management: Integrates BUCK13 efficient buck converter, optimizing overall power consumption.
Ultra-Low Power Design, Enhancing Both Endurance and Response

In response to the core demand for “long endurance and fast response” in smart lock products, this series of chips achieves breakthroughs in standby current and wake-up speed through deep power optimization, significantly improving performance compared to previous generations.
● Extreme Sleep Power Consumption: Sleep mode (Sleep) current as low as 2uA; standby mode (Standby) current optimized to 152uA.
● Dynamic Scene Optimization: Supports BLE low-power broadcasting, low-power connection scenarios, and composite working scenarios (touch detection + RFID detection + BLE broadcasting and connection), supporting dynamic switching between LDO mode and BUCK mode.
● Fast Wake-Up Response: Combining low-power BLE, RFID, and touch button (Touch Key) wake-up mechanisms, the device can maintain sensitive response even in ultra-low power state, avoiding “sleep lag” issues.
