Award Achievements

On August 13, 2025, the eighth National College Student Embedded Chip and System Design Competition application track national finals concluded in Nanjing. A total of 735 universities, 11,800 teams, and 32,388 students participated. Our school registered 39 teams with a total of 117 students competing, including 36 teams from our college. Ultimately, we won 3 national second prizes, 3 first prizes in the northern division, 9 second prizes, and 10 third prizes, and the school received the Excellent Organization Award.

The National College Student Embedded Chip and System Design Competition is organized by the China Electronic Education Association, co-hosted by Southeast University and the Jiangbei New District Management Committee of Nanjing. It is a national-level A-class event on the “National College Student Competition Ranking List.” The competition aims to enhance students’ innovative design and engineering practice capabilities in the field of embedded chip and system design applications, promote collaborative education between universities and integrated circuit-related enterprises, and cultivate outstanding talents with innovative thinking, teamwork spirit, and the ability to solve complex engineering problems. The competition consists of 13 topics covering both domestic and international embedded software and hardware directions. It started in March 2025, and the college attaches great importance to it, actively promoting the construction of discipline competitions. The participating teams underwent online preliminary reviews, offline northern division evaluations, national finals capability assessments, project displays, and defense sessions, ultimately achieving outstanding results. The college focuses on the competition’s purpose of “promoting education, research, and production through competition” by integrating top domestic enterprise technologies into teaching, enhancing students’ full-chain capabilities in chip design, system development, and engineering practice, and deepening the integration of industry and education to supply backbone talents for the domestic chip industry.
