1. Compliance of Physical Labels
1. What information is required on the text label?
The content of the text label must be expressed in English and must include information such as the manufacturer’s name and address.
(Note: Administrative terms such as district, road, street, province, etc. must be expressed in English)

2. How to paste or photograph the text label?

The text label must be photographed clearly;

Artificial editing or forgery is not allowed;
-
The label must be affixed directly to the product or its packaging (self-adhesive sticker), or printed on the product or its packaging;

There must be no alterations or handwritten notes;
-
Labels must not overlap.
3. How to photograph the physical product?
The physical product must not be edited or forged, and no retouching is allowed; artistic images cannot be used as physical product images.
4. Special requirements for other labels
Upholstered Furniture
Each manufacturer of products that comply with California standards must indicate on the permanent label of the product that it “Complies with U.S. CPSC requirements for upholstered furniture flammability.”
Mattress Sets
a. Manufacturer’s name, for imported mattresses, the name of the foreign manufacturer and importer
b. Complete address of the manufacturer, for imported mattresses, the complete address of the foreign manufacturer (including country) and the complete address of the importer or the U.S. location where records are kept (if different from the importer)
c. Month and year of manufacture
d. Model
e. Prototype identification number of the mattress set
f. Statement certifying that the mattress meets this standard

For mattresses sold separately: This mattress meets the requirements of 16 CFR part 1633 (federal flammability (open flame) standard for mattresses) when used without a foundation

For mattresses sold with a base: This mattress meets the requirements of 16 CFR part 1633 (federal flammability (open flame) standard for mattresses) when used with foundation <ID>. (List the name/number of the base)

For mattresses sold separately or with a base: This mattress meets the requirements of 16 CFR part 1633 (federal flammability (open flame) standard for mattresses) when used without a foundation or with foundation(s) <ID>. (List the name/number of the base)
g. Statement indicating whether the manufacturer intends to sell the mattress separately or with a base

Formatting requirements:
Use 10-point or larger Arial/Helvetica font in uppercase, the words “WITHOUT A FOUNDATION”/“WITHOUT A FOUNDATION OR” in bold, “WITHOUT” in italics; the base ID in 12-point or larger bold and underlined font; text centered in a 2.5-inch wide text box, length adjusted as needed; the overall label size is 2.75 inches wide, length adjustable based on information, white background with black text; other information such as the manufacturer’s name should use 6-point or larger font, left-aligned.
Bicycle Helmets
a. Label:

Model name.
-
Warning to users that no helmet can prevent all possible impacts and that serious injury or death may occur.

Warnings on the helmet and packaging that for maximum protection, the helmet must be properly fitted and secured on the wearer’s head according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Warning to users that the helmet may be damaged to the extent that it no longer provides adequate protection against further impacts after being subjected to an impact, and that such damage may be invisible to the user. The label should also state that helmets subjected to impact should be returned to the manufacturer for inspection, or destroyed and replaced.

Warning to users that helmets may be damaged by contact with common substances (e.g., certain solvents [ammonia], cleaners [bleach], etc.) and that users may not see this damage. The label should describe in general terms some recommended cleaners and procedures (e.g., wipe with mild soap and water), list common substances that damage helmets, warn against contact with these substances, and advise users to refer to the instruction manual for more specific maintenance and cleaning information.

Signal word. The warning language required above should include the signal word “warning” at the beginning of each statement, unless two or more statements appear on the same label. In that case, the signal word should only appear once at the beginning of the warning. The signal word “WARNING” should be in all caps, bold, and the font size equal to or greater than the other text on the label.
b. Certification label:

“Complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older” or “Complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 1 and Older (Extended Head Coverage)” statement (as applicable); “U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission” can be used instead of “U.S. CPSC”

Name of the U.S. manufacturer or importer responsible for issuing the certificate, or the name of the private labeler;

Address of the U.S. manufacturer or importer responsible for issuing the certificate, or if the label has the name of the private labeler, the address of the private labeler;
Phone number of the U.S. manufacturer or importer responsible for issuing the certificate, or if the label has the name of the private labeler, the phone number of the private labeler;

Name and address of the foreign manufacturer;

Production batch identification;

Month and year of manufacture without coding
Gas Lighters
a. Production date (must specify the month)
b. Manufacturer identification, unless the lighter has a private label. If the lighter has a private label, it should have a code mark or other label so that the seller can identify the manufacturer to the buyer upon request (*Private labelers: Private labelers must obtain their products from manufacturers or importers that have been requested to issue a certificate of compliance)
2. Compliance of Qualification Documents
a. Overall Requirements
Qualification documents must be formal documents, and must not have any watermarks or wording such as draft, trial, etc., and must ensure that the qualification documents are authentic, with no editing or forgery.
b. Qualification Document Requirements
Qualification documents should be test reports that meet specific testing standards and must include basic product information and images of the test samples. (Note: Carpet products are allowed to be without test sample images).
If the products sold are lighters, ATV vehicles, or products containing button batteries, an additional GCC qualification certificate must be provided.
3. Consistency of Information
a. Consistency between the physical product and the product sold
Please note that the product photographed must be consistent with the product displayed in the SKU sales image. (Note: Color and pattern inconsistencies are allowed).


b. Consistency of shared information between qualification documents and physical images
Qualification documents must be consistent with the shared information in the physical images, including but not limited to product name, manufacturer.
Additionally, the product in the sample image within the qualification document must be consistent with the product in the physical image. (Note: Color and pattern inconsistencies are allowed).


c. Consistency of shared information between qualification certificates and test reports
Qualification certificates and test reports must have consistent shared information, including but not limited to model, test items, manufacturer, test date, test report number, testing laboratory, etc.
d. Consistency of actual shipping product information with physical image product information
Additionally, ensure that the actual shipping product and text label information must be consistent with the product and text label information in the physical image. If there are any changes in information, please contact your operations liaison promptly to resolve.
At the same time, please carefully check and ensure that all products shipped have complete label content affixed according to relevant rules before shipping. If compliance or return, complaint, regulatory accountability, or even recall issues arise due to missing label information, the responsibility will be borne by you. We hope you take this matter seriously and operate in compliance to avoid unnecessary losses.
