Computer Technology and Science

This major trains students to engage in the development of computer application software, analysis and maintenance of computer system software, management and maintenance of computer networks, as well as design, debugging, installation, and maintenance of computer hardware, embedded systems, and interfaces. Students receive fundamental training as engineers in the field of computer science and technology, with a focus on safety awareness, practical skills, and entrepreneurial spirit, preparing them to meet the demands of societal development as high-level applied professionals. Major courses include Object-Oriented Programming (C++), Data Structures, Principles and Applications of Databases, Computer Organization Principles, Operating Systems, Interface Technology, Data Communication and Computer Networks, .NET Framework and Applications, ASP.NET Network Programming, Fundamentals of Embedded Systems, and Embedded Linux Application Development.

Course Introduction

First Semester of Freshman Year

Advanced Mathematics:The study focuses on functions, discussing their limits and extrema. Integral calculus will also be covered, which is important since double and triple integrals will be studied in the second semester. The integral concepts in the first semester are relatively easier to understand. As long as you listen attentively in class and complete your assignments, there should be no major issues.

College English: Pay attention to attendance, the final exam is quite simple, but you need to prepare for your CET-4.

Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis: Commonly referred to as ‘Moral Education’, this is a unique course where different teachers explain each chapter. The final exam will include a paper.

Introduction to Computers: As a computer student, you need to understand the basics of computers. This course introduces you to fundamental computer knowledge and includes lab sessions where you will learn to use Office software. This Office knowledge is very important. If you review seriously for the final exam, there should be no major issues.

C Programming: Oh~ the struggles of students, C programming starts in the first semester, and this is essential for your future career, so you must study hard. The most important part of this subject is practice, as lab sessions will allow you to write programs. Pay attention in class and focus on understanding.

Physical Education: This is an elective course; you can choose your favorite sport. Pay attention to attendance, and you are unlikely to fail the final exam.

Second Semester of Freshman Year

Advanced Mathematics:This semester will be more challenging than the previous one, focusing on integral calculus of surfaces and curves. Additionally, double and triple integrals will be covered. Study diligently and pay attention in class.

College English: After completing the freshman year, you will find that the English final exam is not as daunting as expected. The key is to prepare for the CET-4, and do not forget to attend classes.

College Physics: Wow, you need to study this subject seriously, as it has a high failure rate. It will be more in-depth than high school physics.
