International Observation: Development of Thailand's Electronic Circuit Industry in the First Three Quarters of 2024

1. Thailand’s Electronic Circuit Industry Shows Good Performance in the First Three Quarters, with Revenue and Production Both Increasing

In the first three quarters of 2024, Thailand’s electronic circuit industry (excluding PCBA) achieved sales of 29.27 billion Thai Baht, a year-on-year increase of 5.8% (equivalent to 876 million USD, a year-on-year increase of 11.9%). Domestic sales in Thailand grew by 26.3%, while exports decreased by 0.6%. The production volume for the first three quarters was 7.53 million square meters, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%, with a capacity utilization rate of 72%. Inventory levels are good, with end-of-month inventory down 12.7% compared to the same period last year.
