Intel Launches Second Generation Wi-Fi 7 Wireless Card BE211 (5Gig) with Bluetooth 6.0 Support

On Friday local time, Intel launched the second generation Wi-Fi 7 wireless card — BE211 (5Gig), which uses an M.2 (CNVio3) interface and supports speeds of up to 5Gbit.

  • BE211NGW: M.2 2230, using a standard Key E slot

  • BE211D2W: M.2 1216, supports optimized platform design, saving motherboard space and BOM costs

The official PPT shows that the BE211 is a CRF (Companion Radio Frequency) adapter, compliant with the IEEE 802.11be standard, has passed the Wi-Fi Alliance Wi-Fi 7 R2 certification, supports Bluetooth 6.0, and is compatible with Windows 11.

This wireless card supports Wi-Fi 7 tri-band 2×2, 4096QAM and 320MHz, enhanced privacy and security, Multi-Link Operation (MLO-eMLSR), Multi-Resource Unit (Multi-RU), with peak data rates increased by 2.4 times. IT Home provides the official materials as follows:
