Linux Installation
In this chapter, we will introduce the installation of Linux.

CentOS 6.4 download links:
NetEase mirror: http://mirrors.163.com/centos/6/isos/
Sohu mirror: http://mirrors.sohu.com/centos/6/isos/
Note: It is recommended to install the 64-bit Linux system.
Next, you need to burn the downloaded Linux system to a CD or USB drive.
Note: You can also install the VMware virtual machine on Windows to install the Linux system.
Linux Installation Steps
1. First, use the CD drive, USB drive, or the downloaded Linux ISO file to proceed with the installation.
Interface description:
Install or upgrade an existing system
Install system with basic video driver
Rescue installed system
Boot from local drive
Memory test
Note: When installing with Lenovo E49, choosing the first option may cause screen display issues; switching to the second option resolves the problem.
2. You can directly ‘skip’ the media.
3. When the boot interface appears, click ‘next’
4. Select ‘English (English)’ to avoid character encoding issues.
5. Choose the keyboard layout ‘U.S. English’
6. Select ‘Basic Storage Devices’ and click ‘Next’
