Overall block diagram
The AP8000 universal programmer independently developed by Acroview Technology includes three main parts: host, baseboard, and adapter.
The host supports USB and NET connections, allowing multiple programmers to be networked, achieving the goal of simultaneously controlling multiple programmers for programming. The built-in chip safety circuit ensures that even if the chip is inserted incorrectly or short-circuited for other reasons, it can be immediately detected and powered off to protect the chip and programmer. The embedded high-speed FPGA greatly accelerates data transmission and processing. The back of the host has an SD card slot, allowing project files generated by PC software to be placed in the root directory of the SD card and inserted into this slot. Commands such as project file selection, loading, and programming execution can be performed through the buttons on the programmer, enabling operation without a PC, significantly reducing PC hardware configuration costs, and facilitating rapid adaptation to work environments.
The AP8000, through the combination of baseboard and adapter board, enhances the host’s expandability. It currently supports all mainstream semiconductor manufacturers’ devices, including TI, ST, MicroChip, Atmel, Hynix, Macronix, Micron, Samsung, Toshiba, etc. Supported device types include NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., with support for file formats including Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, POF, etc.
