Xinch Technology, a leading automotive-grade chip company in China, is committed to providing high-performance and highly reliable automotive-grade chips for future smart mobility. It is the first automotive-grade chip company in China to achieve the “Four-in-One” certification, having completed the highest functional safety level process certification of ISO26262 ASIL D, AEC-Q100 reliability certification, ISO26262 functional safety product certification, and national cryptography certification.
IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm provides a complete toolchain for the high-reliability Cortex-R5 core in Xinch Technology’s 9 Series SoC and E3 chips. This toolchain includes a highly optimized compiler and advanced debugging features, such as flexible code and data breakpoints, runtime stack analysis, and call stack visualization. With code analysis tools C-STAT and C-RUN, developers can improve code quality during their daily development process.
For companies with functional safety requirements, IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm offers a TÜV SÜD certified version that meets ISO 26262 standards. For companies using continuous integration (CI) workflows and automated build and test processes, the build tools of IAR Embedded Workbench can also support versions based on Linux frameworks.
IAR’s supporting hardware debugger, I-jet, can assist developers in multicore debugging. Additionally, IAR Systems’ technical support, training services, and flexible licensing models enable all customers to find solutions tailored to their specific needs and smoothly utilize IAR development tools.
Chairman of Xinch Technology, Zhang Qiang, stated: “IAR Systems is a global leader in embedded system development tools and services. Its toolchain meets the industry’s demand for high-performance and highly reliable development tools. We are very grateful for IAR Systems’ strong support. Xinch launched the high-performance and highly reliable automotive-grade MCU E3 series products on April 12 this year, and has now received comprehensive support from IAR Systems’ most renowned IAR Embedded Workbench® for Arm 9.30, which will undoubtedly help Xinch better serve customers both domestically and internationally. ‘A hundred flowers bloom in spring,’ as a chip company dedicated to empowering the automotive industry, Xinch Technology always adheres to an open attitude, collaborating with enterprises in the industry chain for innovation and building a full-stack ecosystem. Currently, Xinch Technology has over 200 ecological partners.”
IAR Systems’ Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region, Kiyo Uemura, stated: “As a Chinese independent automotive chip company, Xinch Technology’s R&D innovation capabilities are impressive, successfully launching the 9 Series SoC and E3 Series MCU chips. IAR Systems, as a global leader in embedded development tools, places great importance on the Chinese market. We are very pleased to cooperate with Xinch Technology, achieving comprehensive support for Xinch Technology’s 9 Series SoC and E3 Series MCU chips in the new version of IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm, fulfilling our long-term commitment to Chinese customers and markets. IAR Systems will continue to collaborate with global ecosystem partners to help our joint customers fully unleash and utilize the full potential of the chips.”
Xinch’s high-performance and highly reliable automotive-grade MCU E3 series products can be comprehensively applied in safety-critical applications such as drive-by-wire chassis, brake control, BMS, ADAS/autonomous driving motion control, LCD instrument panels, HUD, and streaming media vision systems CMS. The E3 MCU was designed with very high stability and safety goals from the outset: automotive-grade reliability standards reach AEC-Q100 Grade 1, and functional safety standards reach ISO 26262 ASIL D level. E3 series products have a maximum frequency of 800MHz, with up to 6 CPU cores, of which 4 cores can be configured as dual-core lockstep or operate independently, filling the gap in the domestic high-end, high-safety-grade automotive MCU market.
