China is a major global motor manufacturing country, with many motor companies mastering the manufacturing technology of efficient motors. However, most of the efficient motors are used for export, while most motor companies primarily produce ordinary motors with low added value and high energy consumption. As of June 1, 2021, China’s new motor efficiency grade standards will be officially implemented, and motors below IE3 efficiency will be forced to cease production, marking a comprehensive transition of the domestic motor industry into the era of efficient motors.

However, the current MCU market in China is still primarily occupied by foreign manufacturers, with the top eight foreign MCU manufacturers accounting for as much as 84.08% of the market share. Domestic MCU manufacturers have a relatively low market share, indicating significant room for growth from the perspective of import substitution.

It is reported that Hangshun Chip’s HK32MCU has already achieved mass production across seven process platforms, including mixed-signal 8-inch 130mm to 12-inch 40nm, covering various cores such as Arm Cortex-M0, M0+, M3, M4, and RISC-V. The automotive-grade HK32AUTO39A family has passed AEC-Q100 certification. While striving to be compatible with mainstream MCUs from Europe and the United States, Hangshun Chip insists on domestic autonomy and aims for innovation.

Currently, Hangshun’s 32-bit MCU products are mainly divided into six categories: innovative, high-performance, low-power, mainstream (automotive/industrial grade), economical, and dedicated types, encompassing over 300 products across twenty-nine families. They are currently widely used in automotive electronics, industrial control, the Internet of Things, smart home appliances, smart homes, medical electronics, and motor drives, and have planned a dedicated MCU/MCPU product roadmap for the high, medium, and low-end motor markets over the next five years, hoping to continuously launch proprietary designs for applications such as power tools, electric bicycles, high-end drones, and robotic arms through innovations like algorithm accelerators and pre-driver circuits.
