1. The filling, storage, use and inspection of cylinders shall strictly comply with the provisions of TSG 23-2021 “Gas Cylinder Safety Technical Regulations” (referred to as “bottle regulations”). The unit using the gas cylinder refers to the property right unit and the filling unit.
2. The filling unit shall display the instructions for the safe use of gas cylinders in the form of paper printing or scanning two-dimensional code, and inform it of the safety rules to be observed:
3. The pressure of the cylinder filled with compressed gas shall not exceed the nominal working pressure at 20°C.
4. The use of gas cylinders shall comply with the following provisions: a. Shall not change the steel seal and color mark of gas cylinders without authorization; b. Gas cylinders should be stably erected or installed in a car with special rubber wheels; c. The gas cylinder shall not be placed near the heat source, 10 meters away from the open flame; d. No knocking, collision; e. It is strictly prohibited to carry out arc welding on the gas cylinder; f. Avoid sun exposure in summer; Do not heat the cylinder with a heat source exceeding 60ºC. g. The nozzle of the gas cylinder is strictly prohibited from being stained with grease. When the valve is frozen, it is strictly prohibited to bake with fire.
5. Nitrogen, argon and carbon dioxide gas can cause rapid asphyxiation, and there should be good ventilation;
Hydrogen can cause the brittleness of steel, and is a highly flammable gas, hydrogen and air can be mixed to form an explosive mixture, open the valve in the air can be ignited, so the gas should meet the provisions of the relevant standards. Good ventilation and reliable safety measures should be maintained during storage; Methane is a flammable gas, mixed with air or oxygen, can form a blasting gas, should be vacuumed before filling.
6. In accordance with the provisions of the relevant standards, keep the specified residual gas pressure or residual gas weight in the cylinder.
7. The designed service life of the cylinder is 20 years.
8. The inspection of the gas cylinder must be conducted by the unit that has obtained the qualification certificate for periodic inspection of the gas cylinder. Cylinders containing nitrogen, inert gases (argon, helium) and non-corrosive high-purity gas cylinders with purity greater than or equal to 99.999% are inspected every five years; Cylinders containing other gases (such as oxygen, hydrogen, air, carbon dioxide) are tested every three years; Gas cylinder found during use if there is serious corrosion, damage or doubt about its safety and reliability, it should be tested in advance. Cylinders that are in stock and out of service for more than one inspection cycle shall be inspected before use, and those that fail to meet the requirements of the standard shall be disqualified.
9. This gas cylinder cannot be used as a bottle-type pressure vessel attached to a transport vehicle or machine equipment.
