Introduction
On September 12, 2018, the “2018 7th Industrial Control System Information Security Summit – Guangzhou Station” was grandly held at the San Yu Hotel in Guangzhou, hosted by the Industrial Control System Information Security Industry Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Industrial Security Industry Alliance) and the Guangdong Provincial Electric Engineering Society, with the support of the Guangdong Electric Power Research Institute Energy Technology Co., Ltd., the Power Automation Committee of the Chinese Automation Society, and the Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion Cooperation Innovation Alliance, as well as the Information and Automation Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Electric Engineering Society, the Secretariat of the Industrial Security Industry Alliance, and Control Network (kongzhi.net) &《Automation Expo》.
Zou Chunming, head of the Industrial Control Security Testing Laboratory of the Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, elaborated on the vulnerabilities existing in industrial control systems from aspects such as strategy and program management, network, security products, computer equipment, control equipment, and viruses in his report titled “Information Security and Protection Levels of Industrial Control Systems”. He introduced the relevant content of the Level Protection 2.0 system upgrade and briefly outlined the current situation of industrial control system security protection in China.
