It integrates PLC, HMI, analytics, and user applications (Windows) into one system.It provides control, analytics, data collection, integrated control, and visualization capabilities typically based on a single device for machine and production line control.This example demonstrates how physical control integration improves efficiency in factory workshops.

Beckhoff Automation is a leader in the field of industrial and building automation system implementation, collaborating with Husky* (a global supplier of injection molding systems for the plastics manufacturing industry) to integrate multiple control systems.This has led to the Husky HyPET* system – a solution suitable for a range of packaging applications including carbonated soft drinks.

Beckhoff uses its TwinCAT* software technology to create a PC-based control system (equipped with the Intel® Core™ i7 processor) that integrates many traditional controls (such as PLC, motion control, hydraulics, robotics, and operator interfaces) into a powerful controller.

The operating systems are Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7, Windows Embedded Standard 7 P, or Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB.
