Recently, at the 2024 International Star Flash Alliance Industry Summit, Lierda Technology Group Co., Ltd. showcased its latest developed EB21 series SLE transparent transmission module.

On March 13, the Lierda Star Flash series module had already made its debut at the Huawei HarmonyOS Connect Partner Summit.

As a currently hot new communication technology for short-range wireless, Star Flash technology brings together the collective wisdom of more than 300 leading enterprises and institutions from home and abroad, using a set of standards that integrate the advantages of traditional wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and WiFi, focusing on developing two technical modes: SLE and SLB, injecting new vitality into the traditional short-range communication field represented by Bluetooth, WiFi, and ZigBee.
As a member of the Star Flash Alliance, Lierda has increased its research and development investment in Star Flash technology. Its latest developed EB21 series SLE transparent transmission module integrates the latest BLE5.4 and SLE1.0 core technologies, featuring high-speed transmission and low power consumption.
Lierda’s chairman, Ye Wenguang, told reporters that, taking the commonly used Bluetooth BLE 5.0 as an example, its effective throughput rate is approximately 480Kbps in actual applications. Transmitting a 1MByte data packet at this speed takes about 17.1 seconds. In contrast, the Lierda SLE1.0 Star Flash EB21 module, based on recent large throughput data tests, can achieve an effective throughput rate of up to 1.2MKbps. Under the same conditions, transmitting a 1MByte data packet only takes about 6.6 seconds. “Compared to commonly available Bluetooth devices on the market, our module’s transmission speed has improved by over 60%,” Ye Wenguang said.

In terms of transmission distance, the EB21 module also shows significant advantages. According to large throughput data tests, under conditions of open urban roads, the effective connection distance of the EB21 module can reach 300 meters. “How do we understand this data? Under the same conditions, the maximum connection distance for Bluetooth is 150 meters,” Ye Wenguang said.

Ye Wenguang further explained that, in addition to being superior to WiFi and Bluetooth technology in parameters, Star Flash technology is more importantly about integration, providing an excellent complementary solution for WiFi and Bluetooth. For this reason, industry insiders have commented that Star Flash technology is more stable than WiFi and better than Bluetooth.
