One of the classic philosophical questions – Where do we come from? This question feels so difficult that it seems impossible to answer. I once wrote a moderately opinionated novel, trying to elaborate on this question.

Novel Synopsis: Advanced civilizations have gone through many centuries, yet they are still troubled by the question, “Where do we come from?” They are eager to find the answer, so they started a massive project – using their most advanced supercomputers to simulate the operation of their world, hoping to find clues to “Where do we come from?” through the analysis of the simulated worlds. The project unfolded grandly, with 5 million supercomputers simulating 5 million worlds, each with different initial parameters. Most of these worlds evolved life over time. The simulated worlds cannot perceive the existence of the advanced civilization, and if the advanced civilization accidentally unplugs a supercomputer, causing the simulated world to lose power, the life within it would not notice at all, as the power outage is equivalent to stopping “time” in their world. If the advanced civilization plugs the power back in, even after some time has passed, the life in the simulated world would not feel any interruption, as if nothing had happened, and they continue with their tasks.

I have a 7-inch capacitive touch screen from DFRobot, which I cherish like a treasure. I place it on the table, afraid that its own weight might damage it. So, I wanted to create a soulmate for it, to protect it.

(A friend asked me why I used such a flashy color scheme. Honestly, it’s because I ran out of materials while working on it, and had to improvise【crying】)

To create this soulmate, you will need:

1. A 7-inch capacitive touch screen from DFRobot (seriously)

2. A Raspberry Pi sold by DFRobot (with utmost seriousness)

3. An audio amplifier module (I’m going all out for this soulmate!)

4. A pair of small speakers (no one can stop me from making this soulmate!)

5. Faith

Assemble the Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi has a 3.5mm audio interface. I cut an old headphone, stripped its connector, soldered DuPont wires, and connected them to the audio amplifier module. Finally, I connected the speakers to the amplifier module and secured everything, thus completing this soulmate.

Imagine, at the moment I open the door, if I see such a trio on the table, I would definitely rush over and eagerly type “helloworld”.

(Before he died, Jobs told me: “No wires, no wires. Only without wires can you sell it for an exorbitant price!”)

There are two ways to place it:

With the 7-inch screen and soulmate by my side, I discovered a world-class secret. If Teacher G.E.M. lowers the sound frequency by 14 levels in mpg123, it turns into Teacher Huang Xiaohu, which shocked me! Teacher Huang Xiaohu’s song “After Meeting Again” is also quite nice.

Continuing – The existence of the simulated world is to solve the question that troubles the advanced civilization – “Where do we come from?” Ultimately, in the 5 million simulated worlds, more than 10,000 simulated worlds gave rise to advanced intelligent life. However, what shocked the advanced civilization was that the advanced intelligent life in these more than 10,000 simulated worlds was similarly tormented by the question “Where do we come from?” More than 10,000 simulated worlds collectively did one thing – they simulated countless worlds again in their world to help themselves find the answer to “Where do we come from?” Among these more than 10,000 simulated worlds, there is one called Earth Civilization. When the life forms of the advanced civilization saw this result, they all looked up at the sky of their world… murmuring, “Difficult.”

Warning: An abnormal power outage occurred in World No. 24562!

Tip: Repaired!
