During our use of the iPhone, we inevitably encounter some problems, especially concerning the screen display or touch sensitivity issues. Below is a summary of potential iPhone screen problems that you can check out:
No Response to Touch
If the iPhone screen or part of the screen is unresponsive, please try restarting the device. If the screen still does not respond to touch operations, or if this problem recurs, please contact Apple Support for repair promptly.
Screen Too Sensitive or Intermittently Responding to Touch
If your device’s screen is overly sensitive or fails to respond normally to touch operations, please follow these steps:
1. Restart the device.
2. Ensure the screen is clean, with no debris or water droplets.
3. Disconnect all Lightning accessories.
4. Remove all protective cases or screen protectors.
If the screen returns to normal after disconnecting the charging cable, the charging accessory may be the issue. It is recommended to use original accessories or replace them.
If the touchscreen still intermittently responds after these steps, or responds even without touch, you need to contact Apple Support for assistance.
iPhone X users should pay attention to the fact that Apple has confirmed that a certain component on the iPhone X display module may fail, leading to touch sensitivity issues. If eligible, Apple will provide free repairs.
Screen Suddenly Dims
If we have enabled the “Auto Brightness” feature on the iPhone, it will adjust the brightness according to the environment. We can manage this feature in iPhone “Settings” – “General” – “Accessibility” – “Display Accommodations”.
However, if the device is used for a long time, the temperature rises, or the ambient temperature is high, causing the device to overheat, the screen may dim or even go black.
So when the screen suddenly dims, pay attention to whether the device is overheating. In this case, you should pause usage, set the device aside to cool down, and then check or use it again.
Screen Icons Too Large
If the icons on the screen are too large, they may have been magnified. Please double-tap the screen with three fingers to zoom out.
This issue is caused by accidentally enabling the iPhone’s zoom feature. If you need to disable the zoom feature, go to “Settings” – “General” – “Accessibility” – “Zoom”, and then tap to turn off “Zoom”.
Screen Colors Distorted
If the colors on the iPhone screen appear distorted, you may need to adjust the color filter:
Please open iPhone “Settings” – “General” – “Accessibility” – “Display Accommodations”, turn off “Invert Colors”, or enable “Color Filters” for adjustments.
