The trend of hardware visualization is in full swing, and the Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT cooler is equipped with an IPS LCD screen, building on our previous tests of the iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT. With excellent display effects and rich customization options, it takes personalized “lighting” to a new height. Let’s experience what makes this cooler special.

As a 360mm liquid cooler, the H150i ELITE LCD XT uses a large aluminum radiator and copper base for cooling. The product features a pure white color scheme, with a rectangular cold head that is iconic to Corsair, and it has already been pre-applied with XTM70 high-performance thermal paste. The most significant difference is the upgrade of the water cooling head to an LCD screen, allowing players to achieve different lighting effects.
Other changes are minimal; the length of the cooling tube is now 450mm, an increase of 70mm over the previous version, and the curvature of the tube is smaller, allowing for smoother fluid flow. The tube features a design with an inner layer of low-permeability rubber wrapped in a braided outer layer, enhancing scratch resistance and improving tensile strength, thus reducing the risk of leakage. The radiator is equipped with three AF120 RGB ELITE fans, each with 8 independently addressable RGB LEDs, providing excellent silent operation and longevity.
The three AF120 RGB ELITE fans not only look great but also perform well thermally. The fans utilize AirGuide direct airflow technology, achieving an airflow of 65.57 CFM at a maximum speed of 2100 RPM, while noise levels are well controlled, peaking at just 34.1dBA. Additionally, through PWM control, the fans can stop spinning when the CPU is under low thermal load, achieving better silence.
In terms of compatibility, the H150i ELITE LCD XT supports a wide range of sockets, including LGA 1700/1200/115X/2066 and AM4/AM5, supporting mainstream CPUs including the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 series and Intel’s 13th generation processors. In the familiar iCUE control software, you can monitor real-time data such as fan speed, pump speed, and coolant temperature, as well as adjust the radiator fan speed.
The high playability is another significant selling point of the H150i ELITE LCD XT. The product features a 2.1-inch circular IPS LCD display on the water cooling head, with a resolution of 480×480 and an ultra-high brightness of 600cd/m2. It can display real-time system and cooler monitoring information, as well as static images and GIF animations, resulting in fine images and rich colors, showcasing excellent display effects that are both beautiful and practical.
It can also be set to display patterns and GIF animations on the screen.
The cooler head screen displays coolant temperature.
In terms of lighting effects, the H150i ELITE LCD XT excels as well. The water cooling head screen is surrounded by an RGB light ring consisting of 33 independently addressable LEDs, and each fan is equipped with 8 LEDs. Through the iCUE control software, you can individually set each LED on the water cooling head and fans, as well as synchronize lighting effects for a more unified lighting experience.
As a high-spec 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler, the H150i ELITE LCD XT’s performance is highly anticipated. To test its cooling capabilities, we built a flagship test platform using Intel’s flagship consumer processor, the Core i9 13900K, and conducted a stress test in an indoor environment at 28℃. To fully unleash the performance of the H150i ELITE LCD XT, we adjusted both the fan and water cooling head speeds to maximum before testing.
During a half-hour stress test, hwinfo software showed that the processor’s average temperature was only 88℃, with a maximum temperature of just 90℃. The average frequencies of the P-core and E-core were 5.3GHz and 4.3GHz, respectively, and the CPU package power averaged 261W, placing it at the top level among the 360mm all-in-one liquid coolers we have tested. What surprised us even more was that even under maximum mode, with fan and water cooling head speeds at their peak, the noise was hardly noticeable; even sitting next to the test platform, it was difficult to hear. This shows that the high cooling performance of the H150i ELITE LCD XT does not come at the cost of fan noise.
Conclusion: A More Playable Flagship Cooler
For the Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT, a liquid cooler with such high specifications, I have no concerns about its performance. The product indeed demonstrated formidable strength in actual stress tests, easily handling the fully loaded Core i9 13900K, while also maintaining excellent noise control during operation, making it a great companion for current flagship coolers.
Considering enthusiasts’ high demands for playability and lighting effects in liquid coolers, the Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT not only features a 2.1-inch circular IPS LCD display but also has 57 independently addressable LEDs, combined with the powerful settings of the iCUE control software, making it outstanding in both playability and lighting effects.
If you are looking for an all-in-one liquid cooler that excels in performance, noise, and aesthetics, the Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT is indeed a great choice.
