ZTE’s Sarcastic Take on Apple’s New Device

Apple unveiled the new generation of the iPhone 14 series at midnight on September 8. To make the iPhone 14 Pro’s “pill-shaped cutout” less obtrusive, Apple introduced a new interactive “Dynamic Island” design. While it appears innovative, some domestic smartphone manufacturers have expressed differing opinions. Recently, ZTE officially released a dynamic video to “mock” Apple.

It is understood that ZTE’s dynamic video actually shows the evolution of the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra’s notch area, starting with a design similar to the iPhone 14 Pro’s “Dynamic Island” and evolving into ZTE’s true full-screen design. Moreover, ZTE has also promoted the slogan “No Island, Full Screen Out of the Circle,” seemingly intentionally comparing it with this new feature on the iPhone 14 Pro. (Lei Technology)

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that there will be significant changes in the naming of the iPhone 15 series next year. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman directly retweeted Kuo’s tweet, suggesting that the Pro Max may disappear from the iPhone 15 series, replaced by an Ultra model, which seems to align more closely with the naming conventions of some Android flagships.
