Recently, there has been big news! Loongson Technology announced the successful tape-out of their new generation processor 2K3000 (3B6000M) ! This is no small matter; our domestic chips have made a significant leap forward. This new processor is not just about successful tape-out; its various performance indicators have met expectations. This new processor integrates 8 LA364E processor cores with a clock speed of up to 2.5GHz, achieving a single-core floating-point performance score of 30 in the standard SPEC CPU 2006 Base test. Even more impressive, it is equipped with self-developed second-generation GPU core LG200, which has doubled the graphics performance compared to the previous generation! This chip can not only handle graphics but also supports general computing acceleration and AI acceleration, with single-precision floating-point peak performance reaching 256 GFLOPS and 8-bit integer peak performance reaching 8 TOPS.
