
Have you ever seen or bought various robot models in stores, but have you thought about making a robot car by hand? Do you know about hydropower, thermal power, wind power, etc., but have you tried generating electricity using temperature differences?
At the 2018 Campus Science Competition held at Shengzhou High School, the imagination, practical skills, and innovative spirit displayed by the students were astonishing.

Xiàng Bójīn, Yáng Chénxī, Pán Kēyǔ — “Multifunctional Robot Car”

Have you watched “This! Is Iron Armor”? While marveling at the contestants’ armored vehicles, can you imagine a high school student independently creating their own robot amidst their tight study schedule?
In 2018, Shengzhou High School science achievers Xiàng Bójīn, Yáng Chénxī, and Pán Kēyǔ turned the impossible into reality. They self-studied hardware technologies like ARDUINO UNO R3 and ARDUINO MEGA 2560 in their spare time, learned the ARDUINO IDE integrated development environment, and software technologies like PWM MKII and MKV, achieving serial communication using the serial monitor, and created the robot entirely by designing, soldering, and connecting it themselves.
Currently, their robot’s power system is complete. Next, they will further improve the robot’s wireless communication device to make it more autonomous; they will install and connect sensors to make the robot smarter. They have already designed and formulated a practical plan, so stay tuned.

Zhào Zhī Nán — “Temperature Difference Power Generation Driven Boat”

Everyone knows about hydropower, thermal power, wind power, and even solar power, but do you know about power generation using temperature differences?
In 2018, Shengzhou High School science achiever Zhào Zhī Nán independently created the “Temperature Difference Power Generation Driven Boat,” using a small candle to create a temperature difference across the power generation plate, generating electricity to power a motor driving a fan, thus enabling the boat to move forward. He educated everyone on the temperature difference power generation method through this practical example, broadening their horizons.
