Music Sparks Between Little Bit and Good Family | Cardboard Drum Set

Project Creator: Huai Ruogu (UID: 819018) Main Control: Micro:bit, Arduino

The cardboard drum set works on the same principle as the well-known fruit piano. By connecting copper foil with wires to the golden fingers of the Micro:bit, a stick wrapped in copper foil is used for striking, achieving the effect of touching the pins. The change in the analog value before and after the touch serves as the basis for determining whether it has been touched. After being touched (drum hit), the Micro:bit sends specified information through wireless communication; the badge board receives the corresponding information and controls HaodaMIDI to produce the specified sound through the corresponding program.

Music Sparks Between Little Bit and Good Family | Cardboard Guitar

Project Creator: Huai Ruogu (UID: 819018) Main Control: Micro:bit, Arduino

The cardboard chord guitar works on the same principle as the cardboard drum set. However, making a guitar involves chords, not just a few simple notes; to perfect it, I also designed a function to change the tone, so I added some button switches, resulting in more information being sent and received. Considering that it could be combined with the drum set in the future (HaodaMIDI has 16 channels, which can be fully utilized), we can share a badge board, and the information sent will avoid 1-9.
