Electric vehicles have now become the most common means of transportation, but little is known about how to maintain them.
This time, the editor will take you into the core component of electric vehicles——the controller.
The controller is the brain of the electric vehicle, controlling the motor’s start, operation, forward and reverse, speed, stop, and other core electronic components. The editor will troubleshoot the common problems of the controller from the following aspects.

Tip 1: Power On But Not Moving
The display shows power, but when twisting the throttle, the data on the dashboard does not change, and the motor does not operate. First, check the P gear and brake. If the P gear and brake issues are ruled out, it can be preliminarily judged that the problem lies in the throttle and controller wiring. Please visit the nearest Green Plus service center for inspection and repair.

Tip 2: Intermittent Movement
The display shows power, but the electric vehicle will automatically cut off power while driving. First, check for poor contact in the wiring. If this is ruled out and the problem persists, it is highly likely that internal components of the controller are loose or have poor contact. Please visit the nearest Green Plus service center for inspection and repair.
Tip 3: Excessive Vibration and Noise
Excessive noise while riding and a decrease in speed under load, with shaking at zero start. This situation may indicate a damaged hall sensor or issues with the internal phase wire circuit of the controller. If the hall sensor and connection wires are functioning normally, then the internal components of the controller may have failed. Please visit the nearest Green Plus service center for inspection and repair.
Tip 4: Starts but Doesn’t Go Far
The vehicle can start normally but stops after a few meters. If issues of insufficient power or poor wiring contact are ruled out, it may indicate cold solder joints or damaged internal components of the controller. Please visit the nearest Green Plus service center for inspection and repair.

Tip 5: Acceleration Phenomenon
There are many reasons that can cause the electric vehicle to accelerate uncontrollably. First, confirm whether water has entered the circuit or if the throttle wire is disconnected from the controller. If not, it is highly likely that the power tube of the controller has been damaged by current. Please visit the nearest Green Plus service center for inspection and repair.
