Project Background Overview

The high-voltage electronic laboratory undertakes the company’s product research and development and testing work. The safety protection for laboratory personnel follows specific standards. By using our company’s Zigbee positioning data combined with dual-frequency tags, we can monitor the number of personnel and their movement trajectories in the electronic laboratory throughout the process. Through software logic judgment, when the number of personnel falls below the safety threshold, a relay device is triggered to cut off the power switch, thereby achieving the goal of protecting personnel safety management. This greatly enhances the safety management of personnel in the high-voltage electronic laboratory.

Current Management Pain Points

Zigbee Positioning Solution

To address the above challenges and enhance safety protection in the high-voltage electronic laboratory, personnel tags from Shidian Technology are bound to insulated rubber-soled shoes. These tags also have motion monitoring capabilities. Shidian card reader stations and antennas are installed at the top of the laboratory and in external corridors. When shoes with bound tags enter the laboratory, the card reader station reads the distance values and quantity information from the tags and reports them to the positioning server. The positioning server calculates the tag position data and displays the quantity in the software. Through software logic design, when the number of personnel falls below the safety threshold, a relay device is triggered to cut off the power switch, thereby achieving the goal of protecting personnel safety management.

Product Application Introduction:

➤ Install several Shidian card reader stations and antennas at the top of the laboratory and in external corridors.

➤ Bind personnel tags from Hainan Shidian to insulated rubber-soled shoes, which also have motion monitoring functions.

➤ Configure the positioning server, binding personnel names and shoes to tag IDs.

➤ All electronic laboratories are connected within the same local area network via wired connections, and the wired network card reader stations communicate through the network.

➤ When shoes with bound tags enter the laboratory, the card reader station reads the distance values and quantity information from the tags and reports them to the positioning server, which calculates and displays the tag position data and quantity in the software.
