After the preliminary course planning, hardware procurement, and other work, the innovation-based elective course led by Dr. Xiong Xiangyu has officially started, with the theme being “Project Development Based on the Arduino Uno Open-source Electronic Hardware Platform.” Previously, Dr. Xiong also offered a course on “Python Programming Language Design.” One course focuses on software programming while the other emphasizes hardware practice, combining software and hardware to complement each other, achieving a breakthrough in innovation-based elective courses at Fengshan Senior High School. As the first person to explore this innovation-based elective course, Dr. Xiong hopes that the course he developed can stimulate students’ interest in learning, enhance their information literacy, and equip them with the digital knowledge and skills necessary in the information age!

Personal Profile


Xiong Xiangyu, doctoral graduate, city-level outstanding teacher, information technology teacher at Shenzhen University Affiliated High School, serves as subject director, coach for the Informatics Olympiad, and member of the academic committee. He has guided students to win awards in municipal innovation competitions; has won awards in various teaching design competitions, micro-course competitions, proposition competitions, and paper evaluations in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City; has hosted or participated in multiple municipal and county-level teaching research projects. He came to Fengshan Senior High School in August 2022 for a three-year teaching support project.
