DS-WIFI Remote Wireless Data Acquisition
The DS-WIFI device is a Wi-Fi modem used for remote wireless data transmission between our data acquisition systems. It is ideal for testing mobile objects and remote measurement applications.

Includes Installation Accessories: The DS-WIFI kit includes all installation and wiring accessories needed to connect to the data acquisition system.
Wireless Data Acquisition
The new DS-WIFI4 Wi-Fi modem is used for wireless data transmission between data acquisition systems during testing and for remote measurement applications.
Compared to wired connections, Wi-Fi data acquisition offers freedom and flexibility in remote data collection, analysis, and control. It is typically used for mobile vehicles to transmit data to a base station, allowing for precise adjustments based on remote real-time track data that would otherwise only be analyzed.
The wireless transmission distance can reach up to 2 kilometers within line of sight, with optional 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band frequencies.
Compatible with All Dewesoft Data Acquisition Systems
The DS-WIFI can be used with any Dewesoft data acquisition system that requires remote data transmission from or to a remote location. The DS-WIFI requires a PC to operate. It can be used with the following:
Modular Dewesoft data acquisition systems connected to a standard PC or our own industrial-grade rugged SBOX or KRYPTON CPU computers.
Data acquisition systems with integrated computers, such as MINITAURs, SIRIUS modules R1DB, R2DB, R3, R4, or R8.
Then connect, control multiple computers, and multiple running DewesoftX software instances, communicating via Dewesoft NET.
Application Fields
Wireless data transmission can be used when at least two data acquisition devices need to share data wirelessly or need to control each other.
Such applications can be found in the automotive, marine, and aerospace fields, which often require wireless data transmission from target vehicles to base stations or between two moving vehicles.
It is also frequently used in industrial and manufacturing applications to control measurements or perform remote measurement analysis.
Excellent Range and Speed
The DS-WIFI has a long wireless range, reaching up to 2 kilometers in open environments. In closed or obstructed environments, range and speed may be limited.

The DS-WIFI features a robust metal casing that is fully sealed and completely waterproof. This makes it very suitable for outdoor testing and easy to use in rainy and dusty environments.
The DS-WIFI wireless modem operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C.
