Recently, the 25th China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition national finals, organized by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, concluded. Our school’s participating teams won a national first prize and four second prizes, achieving a new high in both the quantity and quality of awards. Additionally, the school also received three provincial first prizes, two second prizes, and eight third prizes for excellent results.

The China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition is a long-standing and widely influential national academic competition, one of the earliest competitions organized by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. It aims to guide and inspire young students to promote the spirit of innovation, build a good platform for technological innovation competitions, support the development of the artificial intelligence and robotics industry, and promote the construction of the “Artificial Intelligence+” and “Robotics+” new economic industrial system. This year’s competition attracted students from over 300 universities, including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Harbin Institute of Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, and China University of Petroleum (East China), with more than 800 teams entering the national finals, completing challenges in innovation, competition, application, and task across four major categories, involving 36 specific tracks.
The school attaches great importance to this competition, organizing a total of 49 participating teams. The School of Marine and Space Information is responsible for the promotion, selection, recommendation, and training for the event, providing guiding teachers for the participating teams throughout the process, ensuring training conditions, and greatly enhancing the competition abilities and professional qualities of the participating students.
