Among them, FiberHome Communications, in collaboration with China Mobile, has launched the industry-first “FlexO Electric Cross 1.6T Dual Carrier Hybrid Networking System,” achieving breakthroughs in three core technologies: validating the core concept of 1.6T dual carrier FlexO large particle electric cross OTN, establishing a real-time prototype system based on OIF and ITU-T standard consensus for 1.6T dual carrier interfaces, and constructing a real-time electric cross system supporting B1T FlexO channel layer definition, achieving transmission distances exceeding 800 kilometers with mixed core optical fibers and G.652 optical fibers, and lightning protection verification, providing a solid theoretical foundation and feasible practical basis for the future evolution of optical networks towards Tbit+.
FiberHome Communications and China Telecom Research Institute, along with other manufacturers, released the industry’s first 50G PON third-generation time-division coexistence technical solution, achieving coexistence of EPON, 10G EPON, and 50G PON three generations, promoting the evolution of the EPON system towards 10G. A trial commercial prototype supporting the 50G PON third-generation time-division coexistence technology has been successfully developed and laboratory testing completed.

Recently, the modern marine ranch “Standard Sea” model area (Aizhou) project in Zhuhai, Guangzhou, has opened and commenced production. The wind-solar storage system for “Lingding Ranch No. 1, 2, and 3” was constructed by the Optics Valley enterprise—Wuhan Haidebochuang Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Haidebochuang”).

A marine ranch is an artificial fishing ground built in specific sea areas, fully utilizing natural productivity and employing modern engineering technology, powered by renewable energy sources such as wind and solar.
Haidebochuang, established in 2014, is a high-tech enterprise focused on ship new energy, special power supplies, and energy storage systems. Since 2022, the company has been developing wind-solar storage systems suitable for offshore aquaculture platforms, and within a year has formed a mature solution.Its self-developed wind-solar storage system integrates photovoltaic, wind power, and energy storage, becoming a sustainable “power bank” for marine ranches with advantages such as low noise, zero pollution, self-circulation, and high efficiency.
