Microcontroller Training Session 5 Overview

Communication between the microcontroller and external devices is called communication, which can be parallel or serial. Do you remember the difference between synchronous and asynchronous communication? If anyone is confused, you can watch the replay. SPI is a high-speed, full-duplex, synchronous communication bus that only occupies four lines on the chip pins. Do you remember which four lines they are?

They are:

(1) SDO (MOSI) – Master device data output, slave device data input

(2) SDI (MISO) – Master device data input, slave device data output

(3) SCLK (SCK) – Clock signal generated by the master device

(4) CS (NSS) – Slave device enable signal (pulling down the signal line to enable), controlled by the master device

Actually, three lines can also work~
