Micro:bit Course Introduction
Micro:bit
is a course tailored for first and second-grade primary school students, equipped with Bluetooth, accelerometers, electronic compasses, buttons, and a 5*5 LED dot matrix. Through the study of the Micro:bit course, students gradually engage with artificial intelligence programming for teenagers, understanding various forms of control and phenomena of sound, light, and electricity in daily life.
The course teaches digital quantities, analog quantities, conditional statements, loop statements, and mathematical operations, laying a solid foundation for future learning of Arduino programming and C++ programming in higher grades. The course cultivates logical programming thinking, stimulates students’ interest in technology learning, and enhances hands-on skills. The Micro:bit course connects with the Arduino programming course for higher grades; it combines with 3D creative design to support students in designing and inventing works to participate in competitions.

01
Intermediate I Micro:bit Basics + Advanced
The Micro:bit mainboard, combined with MakeCode graphical programming, is the foundation, along with various sensors and expansion boards to design various basic experiments and sensor experiments. During the learning process, students need to understand the basics of simple electronic circuits and become familiar with how the development board adjusts the physical quantities in the circuit through programs to achieve precise control over sensors and actuators. Recognize the operating principles of various sensors and actuators. Master the usage of various modules in MakeCode graphical programming. Train students’ thinking and hands-on abilities, laying a good foundation for students’ maker journey.
