In our thirteenth article in the Getting Started series, we explore ways to get involved in the Raspberry Pi community.

This series is gradually coming to an end, and I have written a lot about its fun aspects. I mostly hope it helps people use the Raspberry Pi for education or entertainment. Perhaps these articles might persuade you to buy your first Raspberry Pi or help you rediscover a dusty device in your drawer. If there is indeed something here, then I consider this series a success.

If you want to buy one and promote how multifunctional this little green board is, here are a few ways to connect with the Raspberry Pi community:

◈ Help improve official documentation[1] * Contribute code to dependent projects[2] * Report bugs with Raspbian[3] * Report bugs for different ARM architecture distributions * Check out the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s code clubs[4] in the UK or international code clubs[5] abroad to help children learn coding * Help with translations[6] * Volunteer at Raspberry Jam[7]

These are just a few ways you can contribute to the Raspberry Pi community. Last but not least, you can join me and submit articles[8] to your favorite open-source site Opensource.com[9]. 🙂
