💡 Brief overview of the Proteus 8.17 installation tutorial

• Run the installation program

  In the extracted folder, right-click on <span>Setup.exe</span> and select “Run as administrator”.

  

• Select installation path

  It is recommended to install the software on a non-system drive (such as D drive) to avoid insufficient space on the system drive.

  

• Complete the installation

  Follow the prompts to complete the installation, clicking “Next” until “Finish”.

  

• Localize Proteus

• Return to the extracted folder and copy the <span>Translations</span> folder.

  

• Find the Proteus icon on the desktop, right-click, and select “Open file location”.

• Enter the <span>Proteus 8 Professional</span> folder and paste and replace the files in the <span>Translations</span> folder.
