Introduction
The Jia Garden Community in Fenghuang Street focuses on the “I Love My JIA” community brand, creating an embedded party and community service complex that integrates functions such as party and community services, collaborative governance, elderly care, cultural and recreational activities, and entrepreneurship. Through neighborly discussions and a conflict resolution center, the community aims to enhance grassroots governance and service efficiency, building a happy and beautiful home.

To effectively improve community service levels and enhance residents’ sense of gain and happiness, the Jia Garden Community conducted in-depth research on residents’ needs and carefully compiled a list of 21 convenient services covering various areas such as daily living services and administrative matters, establishing a bridge of connection with residents through thoughtful assistance.
The list covers multiple aspects of daily life, including “micro-services” such as knife sharpening and clothing repairs that are close to residents’ lives, as well as employment recommendations and entrepreneurial support. It focuses on urgent issues faced by the community, extending services to the finer details of residents’ lives. Community staff act as “assistants,” allowing residents to simply submit their matters to the community for full-service assistance, truly realizing the concept of “residents speak, and staff run errands.”
To ensure the effective implementation of the service list, the community has established a sound working mechanism. On one hand, it strengthens personnel training to enhance the business capabilities and service awareness of the assistants; on the other hand, it widely promotes the list’s content through community bulletin boards, WeChat groups, and public accounts to ensure residents are informed. Additionally, feedback channels are set up to promptly collect residents’ evaluations and suggestions on the services, continuously optimizing service content and processes.
Since the implementation of the convenient service list, over 300 various matters have been assisted for residents, solving practical difficulties for residents, especially for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and disabled, receiving unanimous praise from the community. “I used to not know where to go to sharpen a knife, but now I can just send it to the community, saving time and effort. It’s so convenient!” exclaimed resident Aunt Wang.
