In 2024, Chasing Light Technology took a critical step by starting the construction of the “Galaxy One” production line, which is alsothe world’s first650*550 mm² organic photovoltaic module production line.
The mass production and delivery of this line means that Chasing Light Technology will be the first in the industry to achieve the commercialization of organic photovoltaics, which is of great significance for Chasing Light Technology and the domestic organic optoelectronics field. The successful launch of this modulemarks the countdown to full mass production of “Galaxy One”.

It is reported that“Galaxy One” is fully innovated in the entire chain from process design, equipment customization to system integration, establishing a complete technology and connection control system covering core processes such as cleaning, coating, laser, evaporation, and packaging.

The production line can customize different sizes according to end products, and its unique form advantage can fully meet the photovoltaic application needs in indoor scenarios.
At the same time, the production line has overcome multiple process challenges and introduced a comprehensive quality control system,significantly improving the performance and reliability of module products, providing customers with high-performance and high-stability product experiences.

smart homes, consumer electronics, etc.

The first batch of orders for the production line will come from several leading global IoT product manufacturers, and subsequently, “Galaxy One” will initiate trials for larger-sized module products to further expand the deep integration of organic photovoltaics with buildings, transportation, wind power, and other scenarios,accelerating the commercialization process of organic photovoltaics in diverse fields.
