Creating a Portable Laser Harp: A Step-by-Step Guide

Ordinary guitars are too low-key.

carefully created a portable laser harp,

combining coolness with artistry!

• Green laser module point positioning aiming green laser head * 7

• Analog ambient light sensor (Arduino compatible) * 7

• DFRduino Mega2560 V3.0 controller * 1

• MEGA sensor expansion board V2.4 (Arduino compatible) * 1

• MIDIPLUS miniengine USB MIDI keyboard sound source synthesizer * 1 (this sound source can also serve as a power bank for Arduino, very convenient)

▶ Production Process

1. Laser cut the wooden board to create the shape (Click “Read the Original Text” to download the model file)

2. Hardware Assembly

There are a total of 5 layers from bottom to top, including the base plate, 3 interlayer plates (including laser head position, wiring, perforated board), and the top panel (including engraved patterns and logo).

Stack them layer by layer, as shown in the picture below ↓↓↓

In the middle is the slot for the laser head ↓↓↓

Insert the laser head, solder the wires on the perforated board, connect the positive and negative lines, cover the top panel, and screw it down. ↓↓↓

Then use a hot glue gun to install the sensor on top. ↓↓↓

Finally, attach the Mega main control board on top and connect the wires. ↓↓↓
