On June 11, as one of the important events of the 2025 Changchun International Optoelectronic Expo, the seminar on the high-quality development of the robotics and sensor industries was successfully held. Top experts and industry elites from the fields of optoelectronic information, smart robotics, and sensors gathered to discuss major opportunities for industrial development under the theme “Connecting Everything, Acting Intelligently” and to seize future development opportunities. Wang Zhihao, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Changchun Municipal People’s Congress, Wen Ran, Deputy Secretary of the Changchun Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Changchun New Area Party Working Committee, Guo Yuansheng, Deputy Director of the Central Science and Technology Committee of the Jiusan Society and Executive Vice Chairman of the China Sensor and IoT Industry Alliance, and Lin Jun, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of the Academic Committee of Jilin University, attended the event. Changchun New Area has a solid industrial foundation, abundant scientific and educational resources, a gathering of innovative talents, a complete functional platform, and a favorable innovation ecosystem. Smart robotics have a good industrial reserve and first-mover advantage in various fields. The New Area has built a high-standard smart robotics and sensor industrial park, officially established the Jilin Province Bionic Robotics Manufacturing Innovation Center, and issued the “Several Measures to Support the High-Quality Development of the Smart Robotics Industry in Changchun New Area,” creating a fund cluster covering the entire process of “angel investment + venture capital + industrial funds + public offerings.” Changchun New Area is deeply implementing the municipal party committee’s deployment requirements for the construction of the Beihu Future Science City, jointly creating a new landmark for the optoelectronic information industry with the China-South Korea Demonstration Zone and Changchun Economic Development Zone. Changchun New Area will provide first-class policy measures, sufficient element guarantees, and an efficient business environment for enterprises and talents, jointly promoting the smart robotics industry to rise higher, leap forward, and move forward.
At the meeting, Changchun New Area presented a special promotion for the optoelectronic information industry. Zhu Jiaqi, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Sensor and IoT Industry Alliance, and Bai Xugui, President of the Jilin Provincial Industrial Technology Research Institute and Secretary of the Party Committee of Jilin Provincial Industrial Technology Research Institute Group Co., Ltd., unveiled the Optoelectronic Technology Special Committee of the China Sensor and IoT Industry Alliance. Wen Ran, Deputy Secretary of the Changchun Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Changchun New Area Party Working Committee, and Zhang Yi, head of the Jilin Provincial Enterprise Federation, unveiled the Jilin Provincial Robotics and Sensor Industry Alliance. The event also included the signing of key cooperation projects in Changchun New Area.
On that day, Guo Yuansheng and Lin Jun delivered keynote speeches titled “Construction of Perception Technology Ecological System and Concept Innovation” and “Developing Advanced Sensing Technology to Serve National Major Needs,” respectively. Entrepreneur representatives gave talks on topics such as “Sensing Needs for Reusable Rockets” and “Technical Breakthroughs and Industrial Ecosystem Construction of Humanoid Robots,” with participants freely discussing various themes and jointly exploring new paths for the high-quality development of the robotics and sensor industries.

Currently, Changxin Innovation Valley has over 550 various enterprises and service institutions, attracting more than 6,800 entrepreneurial talents.
