GCC, UL4200A Certification and Warning Labels
1.UL4200A Certification: This is a key certification that meets safety performance requirements, involving multiple tests including short circuit, overcharge, and compression, with the label assessment phase being particularly important to ensure product safety.
2.Warning Label Requirements:
According to the 16CFR1263 standard, consumer products containing button batteries must have prominent warning labels emphasizing the dangers of swallowing and keeping away from children.
The font size and position of the labels must strictly comply with regulations to ensure consumers can see them immediately.
Labeling requirements on packaging: If there is outer packaging, the label should be placed on the main display surface; if there is no outer packaging, it should be displayed on the hang tag or product, ensuring visibility.
3.GCC Certificate:
The GCC certificate is a mandatory compliance proof that sellers must provide, and the certificate must include product information, applicable regulations (such as 16 CFR 1263), and testing laboratory qualifications among other key information.
The certificate is signed by the manufacturer or importer based on the UL4200A test report to ensure compliance.

U.S. Button Battery Regulatory Regulations
1. H.R.5313 Risk Reduction Act (Effective August 2022): The purpose of this act is to protect children from button battery injuries and requires the establishment of stricter safety standards.
2. CPSC Mandatory Standards (September 2023): Under the Reese’s Law, the CPSC has passed mandatory safety standards and labeling requirements for consumer products containing button/coin batteries, further raising compliance thresholds.
