Certifications Required for Bluetooth Headsets Before Sale
LONG TEST
Before selling Bluetooth headsets
what certifications are required?
With the continuous development of Bluetooth technology, there are now many Bluetooth electronic products on the market. Among them, Bluetooth headsets are one of the most commonly used Bluetooth products, allowing people to free themselves from wired headsets and are loved by consumers, becoming best-selling products both domestically and internationally.
The certifications that Bluetooth headsets may need to complete before sale depend on the country and region. In China, in addition to the basic quality inspection report, Bluetooth headsets also need to complete the following certifications:

1. Certifications Required in China
Image
SRRC Certification: This is the model approval certification for radio transmission equipment in China, which is a mandatory certification. All wireless products sold in China need to undergo SRRC certification.

RoHS Certification mainly involves products
RoHS directive refers to “electrical and electronic equipment” designed to operate at a voltage of no more than 1000V AC and 1500V DC, relying on current or electromagnetic fields for normal operation, and devices that generate, transmit, and measure these currents and fields.
Mainly includes: daily household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, water heaters, etc.; black appliances such as audio and video products, DVD, CD, television receivers, IT products, digital products, communication products, etc.; power tools, electric electronic toys, medical electrical equipment, and power used, including small and large household appliances, IT and telecommunications equipment, and consumer products such as radios, televisions, cameras, and sound systems.

RCM Certification Application Process
1► Third-party laboratory evaluates the product and determines the testing standards to be applied;
2► If there are non-compliance issues during testing, the laboratory will rectify the product to meet Australian standards;
3► After passing the test, issue the test report;
4► Submit the test report to the Australian certification body for document review;
5► Upon passing the Australian review, issue the RCM certificate;
6► Customers can register on the Australian website themselves or have the laboratory complete the registration work.
