Qiao Baojun is a professor at Henan University, a distinguished teacher in Henan Province, a leading talent in education in the Central Plains of Henan, an academic leader in the Henan Provincial Department of Education, and the director of the Key Laboratory of Big Data Analysis and Processing in Henan Province. He is also the vice-chairman of the Henan Computer Society and the deputy director of the Computer Teaching Guidance Committee of Henan Province.

He has hosted and participated in over 20 national and provincial research projects, published more than 50 academic papers, authored 5 textbooks, and received two second prizes for the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, as well as one special prize and two second prizes for the Henan Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award.
