In the cloud and data center space, as AWS, Google, and Microsoft continue to expand their self-developed data center chips based on ARM computing platforms, ARM expects that by 2025, nearly 50% of the computing power shipped to leading hyperscale cloud service providers will be based on ARM architecture. This growth momentum stems from the industry’s strong demand for ARM’s efficient and energy-saving computing capabilities to support complex AI inference and training workloads. Compared to other platforms, the ARM architecture chips adopted by leading cloud service providers can achieve up to a 40% improvement in energy efficiency.

Meanwhile, the demand for ARM architecture in the PC and tablet market has significantly increased, with projections indicating that by 2025, it will account for 40% of total shipments. Currently, most mainstream applications worldwide have launched native versions for Windows on ARM, providing a faster and more powerful AI PC experience, covering core applications such as chatbots and productivity tools.

Additionally, NVIDIA’s DGX Spark AI desktop computing platform is also showing strong momentum. This platform features the Grace Blackwell superchip based on the ARM v9 architecture CPU, capable of supporting AI computing for models with 200 billion parameters, attracting attention from developers and researchers dedicated to building powerful next-generation AI models. At this year’s COMPUTEX, NVIDIA announced partnerships with leading global system manufacturers including Acer, ASUS, Dell Technologies, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, and MSI to create NVIDIA DGX Spark and DGX Station systems.
