Hello everyone, I am Gan Yuhao from Class 4 of Baiyin Road Primary School. Today I would like to introduce a health guardian, called the Arduino Office Health Guardian.

Research Origin
In our daily study and life, we find that many people sit in front of a computer for long periods, often for several hours at a time. This prolonged sitting behavior is very detrimental to health. Moreover, people often forget to drink water due to busy work, which can also affect normal metabolism. Additionally, we noticed that in an office environment, people may not easily perceive changes in their body temperature, and if there is an abnormality, it may not be detected and dealt with in time.

System Framework
The hardware of the Office Health Guardian includes an Arduino Nano main control board, expansion board, OLED display, ultrasonic module, indicator light, wireless module, weighing module, miniMP3 module and speaker, infrared temperature sensor, boat switch, and self-locking switch as well as a 7.4V battery. Each component works together to achieve the device’s functions.

Physical Production
The steps to produce the Office Health Guardian are as follows: prepare the materials and familiarize yourself with their functions, connect the circuit according to the design, integrate the modules, program to realize various functions and control the display, implement the reminder for prolonged sitting, drinking water, and temperature monitoring functions, design the user interface for display, integrate various functional modules for testing to ensure coordination, achieve remote monitoring capabilities, and finally optimize and debug to ensure system stability.

Experimental Testing
The Office Health Guardian has remarkable effects. Its sitting reminder function effectively encourages users to move at appropriate times, promoting physical circulation; the drinking reminder function helps users maintain hydration and enhance work efficiency; the temperature monitoring function can timely detect abnormalities, ensuring user health; the screen distance monitoring function effectively prevents eye problems, improving work comfort. By analyzing experimental data, it is clear that this assistant excels in reminding users to maintain healthy habits and can customize personalized health management plans, bringing convenience and care to users’ office lives.
