Retest Content
School of Computer Science (Main Campus + Weihai + Shenzhen):
1. Composition and Score Composition of the Retest
The retest consists of a comprehensive test and an interview. The comprehensive test is out of 200 points, and the interview is out of 150 points. The total score calculation method for the retest is:
Retest Score = Comprehensive Test (converted to percentage) * 60% + Interview (converted to percentage) * 40%
2. Comprehensive Test
The comprehensive test is a machine test, mainly including the following content:
(1) C Language Programming, assessing students’ programming ability;
(2) Database Systems;
(3) Discrete Mathematics;
(4) Algorithm Design and Analysis;
(5) Logical Thinking Ability;
Except for “C Language Programming”, other test contents focus on basic concepts, principles, methods, and techniques.
Note: All test items are submitted on a computer, where the “C Language Programming” score is automatically determined by the machine test system, while other items are scored based on the type of questions by the machine test system or manually.
3. Interview
The interview consists of four parts. The first part is a communication ability test, focusing on assessing the candidate’s communication and teamwork skills, career planning, and cultural literacy; the second part is a science and innovation ability test, focusing on assessing the candidate’s practical and innovative abilities; the third part is a comprehensive application ability test, focusing on assessing the candidate’s ability to solve problems using knowledge; the fourth part is an analysis and design ability test, focusing on assessing the candidate’s problem analysis and solution design abilities. The four parts of the interview are conducted in a streamlined manner, with each part being independent, and each part’s assessment time is 5 minutes, mainly including the following content:
(1) Foundation and ability for engaging in scientific research:
(2) Comprehensive analysis and communication, teamwork ability;
(3) University study situation and academic performance;
(4) Mastery of knowledge and skills outside the major;
(5) Specialties and interests;
(6) Physical and mental health status.
Tuition and Duration
The basic study duration for master’s students is2-3 years, with each college determining the basic study duration based on the characteristics of the discipline and talent training objectives.
For disciplines that adjust the basic study duration from2 years to 3 years, during the transition period, excellent professional master’s students can apply to graduate early in 2 years, and good students can apply to graduate early in 2.5 years, with specific standards set by each discipline based on actual conditions.
