Recently, at the 2025 World Robot Competition Sanya Championship, the “Intelligent Machinery Pioneers” team from Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Xida Affiliated Star School became the focus of attention.
This team, composed of six students, achieved outstanding performance in this event, known as the “Olympics” of youth robotics,winning the national championship in the TAI Smart City (Middle School Group) category and a national second prize.
The World Robot Competition (WRC) is organized by the China Electronics Society and is a Ministry of Education whitelist event. This championship attracted nearly ten thousand participants from around the world to Sanya, making the competition exceptionally fierce. The students from Liangjiang New Area Xida Affiliated Star School formed two teams to compete, with teacher Connie accompanying them throughout, and the school providing full support. Faced with strong competitors, they showed no fear.

Among them,2027 graduates Dai Mingchen, Deng Lan, and Liu Mohan formed a team that performed exceptionally well, overcoming numerous challenges to ultimately win the national championship.
2027 graduates Chen Runshen, 2026 graduate Chen Duoyi, and 2027 graduate Zhu Haotian also showcased impressive strength, winning the national second prize.
In the scorching summer heat, the students, driven by their passion for technology, persevered through training without retreating. They built prototypes from scratch, optimized thousands of lines of code repeatedly, simulated dozens of tactical scenarios, and continuously overcame unexpected failures. The path to victory was paved with countless sweat and wisdom.
Liangjiang New Area Xida Affiliated Star School has always regarded“technological innovation literacy” as a crucial component in cultivating students’ core competitiveness. The school not only has advanced artificial intelligence robotics classrooms and an excellent team of technology teachers but is also a pilot school for the large-scale application of“artificial intelligence courses”, the “Xiaoping Technology Innovation Laboratory,” andChongqing’s Smart Campus Construction Demonstration School, providing students with a high-quality platform for technological innovation development.
The school has established a distinctive talent cultivation path of “inclusive + elite,” allowingthe cultivation of innovative talents (covering fields such as 3D printing, drones, artificial intelligence, etc.) to run parallel with the training of informatics competition talents, ensuring that every child with a dream in technology can find a suitable development path here.
