On April 3rd, Longxin Zhongke officially announced that the Longxin 2K3000 and 3B6000M chips have successfully completed tape-out.

Longxin Zhongke stated that the 2K3000/3B6000M chips have completed preliminary functionality and performance assessments, with all indicators meeting expectations, targeting industrial control applications and mobile terminal fields respectively.

It is reported that although the two chips are aimed at different application fields, they are both based on the same wafer design, differing only in their packaging versions.

Longxin2K3000/3B6000M (Industrial Control/ Terminal) Chip

Specifically, this chip integrates 8 LA364E processor cores, achieving a measured SPEC CPU 2006 Base single-core fixed-point score of 30 at a frequency of 2.5GHz.

The chip integrates a second-generation self-developed GPGPU (General-Purpose Graphics Processing Unit) core LG200, which has significantly improved graphics performance compared to the first-generation GPU core LG100 integrated with Longxin 2K2000

In addition to graphics acceleration, LG200 also supports general computing acceleration and AI acceleration, with a peak performance of 256 GFLOPS for single-precision floating-point and 8 TOPS for 8-bit fixed-point.

Currently, the OpenCL computing framework and related AI acceleration software have completed preliminary testing, and related supporting software is being improved. Dozens of industrial control and information technology companies have begun to adopt this chip for product design.

Moreover, the chip also integrates an independent hardware codec module, supporting various mainstream video formats, and supports eDP/DP/HDMI three display interface outputs, achieving 4K high-definition processing performance of 60 frames;

It integrates a secure and trusted module, providing secure and trusted support and cryptographic services, in addition to the SM2/3/4 hardware algorithm modules, it also implements a reconfigurable cryptographic module for software programming;

It integrates a rich set of IO expansion interfaces, including PCIe3.0, USB3.0/USB2.0, SATA3.0, GMAC, eMMC, SDIO, SPI, LPC, RapidIO, and CAN-FD, meeting the application needs of different fields.

The successful tape-out of the new processor also marks that Longxin Zhongke has systematically mastered the key core technologies for general-purpose processors (GPGPU), graphics processors (GPU), AI processors, and their foundational software design, entering a new era of vigorously developing AI processors, taking a new step towards building an independent information technology system.

With the successful tape-out of Longxin 2K3000/3B6000M, Longxin’s general-purpose CPU has formed a complete series of products for desktop, server, and terminal lines, capable of providing high-performance and cost-effective CPU chip products for different fields.

Longxin 3C6000/D Server Chip Debuts

In addition to the successful tape-out of 2K3000/3B6000M, Longxin has also recently debuted its new generation of domestic server CPUs for the first time.

At the recently concluded 2025 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, Longxin Zhongke presented the 3C6000/D 2U dual-socket server.

This server uses two Longxin 3C6000/D processors based on Longxin’s self-developed instruction set, with a total of 64 physical cores and 128 logical cores, equipped with the Longxin 7A2000 discrete bridge chip, achieving 100% localization of core components, meeting the computing needs of general computing, large data centers, and cloud computing centers.

The Longxin 3C6000 series chips are the second generation of server chips launched under China’s self-developed instruction system “Long Architecture”, without the need for foreign authorization. From the top-level planning of the entire architecture to the functional definitions of each part, and to the details of the encoding, naming, and meaning of each instruction, Longxin Zhongke has completely redesigned it..

Last July, Longxin Zhongke officially revealed that the Longxin 3C6000 had completed tape-out.

Measured results indicate that compared to the previous generation server CPU Longxin 3C5000, its general processing performance has increased significantly, reaching the level of Intel’s mid-to-high-end Xeon Silver 4314 processor.

This March, the China Information Security Evaluation Center released the “Security and Reliability Evaluation Results Announcement (2025 No. 1)”, and the Longxin 3C6000 successfully made the list, being rated as the highest level II.

Longxin Zhongke latest institutional research information

In the second quarter, it will release the 3C6000 series

Additionally, Longxin Zhongke disclosed in March the reception of research announcements.

It is understood that Longxin Zhongke has made significant progress in the construction of the basic software ecosystem, establishing a Linux basic software system that stands alongside X86 and ARM, and has entered a normalized maintenance phase.

In the server business field, Longxin Zhongke’s products on sale include the 16-core 3C5000 and the 32-core 3D5000, with shipping formats covering chips, boards, and white-box servers.

The 3C5000, as Longxin’s first-generation server product, has achieved breakthroughs in industries such as telecommunications. The company plans to launch a new generation of server chip 3C6000 series this year, including 16-core, 32-core, and 64-core versions.

Among them, the 16-core version 3C6000/S and the 32-core version 3C6000/D of the 3C6000 series have self-tested performance equivalent to Intel’s Xeon 4314 and 6338, and these two products are expected to be released in the second quarter of this year.

In terms of dedicated computing power construction, Longxin Zhongke has revealed that the company has long focused on general computing power construction represented by CPUs, with desktop products 3A6000 and server products 3C6000 series achieving or nearing the performance of international mainstream products.

At the same time, Longxin Zhongke is also vigorously developing dedicated computing power construction represented by GPGPU, with the second-generation GPGPU IP core LG200 providing AI acceleration capabilities in addition to traditional graphics rendering functions.

LG200 has been validated in the newly developed 8-core industrial control chip 2K3000 (terminal chip 3B6000M), and the development of the GPGPU chip 9A1000 is also progressing smoothly.
