Let’s grow together and explore the future of AI and robotics↑
Author / Robot Panda

Hello everyone, I am Robot Panda.
In recent years, discussions about artificial intelligence and robotics have become increasingly heated. Many people say that if you don’t learn a bit about AI now, will you be eliminated? Will all jobs be replaced by robots in the future?
I want to say: this is not alarmism, nor is it creating anxiety, but rather a question worth serious consideration by everyone.I strongly recommend that everyone, regardless of your industry or whether you have a technical background, should start to understand AI and robotics as soon as possible.
「 01 」AI and robotics technology is just getting started
Many people feel that AI and robotics are developing “too quickly”, but the reality is that their development is far from truly “fast”—we are onlyjust getting started.
For example:
-
Although GPT’s large model is very popular, it has only really entered the public eye in the last two years;
-
Industrial robots have been popular for decades, but household robots and service robots are just beginning to take shape;
-
Many ordinary people have not even used an AI tool once.
The heat we see is actually just asmall preheating before a technological explosion. Future development will definitely beexponential: the impact will deepen, the scope will widen, and the changes will accelerate.
Because of this,now is the best window for ordinary people to understand and participate in it.
「 02 」AI and robotics will change all industries, but they will not immediately “eliminate” humans
I know some friends in manufacturing, logistics, and education, and they all have a sense of anxiety:
“Will AI do my job in the future?”
But I want to say that they will indeed change the way many industries operate, but it won’t be like in the movies where humans are “completely replaced” overnight.
On the contrary, the more likely scenario is:it will collaborate with humans and become a tool for humans—only you need to know how to use it first.
For example, if you are a teacher, future students may first learn with AI and then be guided by you; if you are a copywriter, AI can generate 10 proposals for you to choose from; if you are a manufacturing worker, robots may lift heavy objects for you, but you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring them.
So it is not about “replacing you”, but rather “replacing those who do not know how to use it”.
「 03 」Why should you start learning now?
1) Because the threshold is not high
Many people think that learning AI means going to get a PhD in computer science and writing a lot of code. But in fact, the current AI products and robotics platforms are very mature, and ordinary people can quickly get started.
-
Use ChatGPT to write copy or do some translations;
-
Use Midjourney or StableDiffusion to create images;
-
Use AI for voiceovers or to edit short videos;
-
Use Arduino or ESP32 to build a small robot yourself…
These are not difficult,you don’t need to become a programmer to play with them.
2) Because understanding it won’t hurt you
Learning AI now may not immediately lead to a promotion or raise, but it will help you:
-
Improve efficiency;
-
Enhance professional competitiveness;
-
See future industry trends;
-
Make better career choices.
You can think of it as a “basic skill”, just like learning computers, PowerPoint, or Excel a decade ago—it may not make you stand out, but if you don’t know how to use it, you will be left behind.
「 04 」The future of careers, life, and children’s education will all be affected
Our generation has already seen a “technological gap”:
-
Those who cannot use smartphones have been left behind in the rhythm of life;
-
Those who do not understand e-commerce or social media have missed many job opportunities;
AI and robotics will also bring about this gap.
If you start to understand now, you will not be eliminated, but may even be half an era ahead of others.
In the future, your children may have robot teachers, your company may deploy automated assembly lines, and your competitors may be “tireless AIs”. Isn’t it worth understanding?
「 05 」So what should I do now?Here are a few suggestions:
-
Spend a little time each day engaging with AI content : Follow relevant content on public accounts, Bilibili, and Zhihu;
-
Choose a direction that interests you to start trying (writing copy, drawing, modeling, coding, etc.);
-
Join a community or study group, so you are not fighting alone and can stick with it more easily;
-
Set a small AI task for yourself each month : For example, generate a video with AI or build a small robot car;
-
Continuously update your thinking : AI and robotics are changing too quickly, so keep up with their pace.
In conclusion:
You are not a “passive adapter”; you can be a “participant”.
The development of technology is irreversible; the only thing you can do is:make it work for you, rather than let it replace you.
So, I really recommend everyone to spend a little time learning about AI and playing with robots. You don’t need to become an expert, but you can become someone who masters the rhythm of the future.
