Have you ever encountered a situation where your SD card cannot be opened on your computer and prompts you to format it?
What should you do at this point? If you follow the prompt to format it, important files on your phone will be lost. So how can you repair a damaged SD card?
1. Insert the SD card into a card reader, then connect it to your computer. When prompted to format, click “Cancel”.
2. Use the tools in the properties > Start Check, but find that the check cannot be executed.
3. Click on the “Start Menu” on your computer > in the “Run” box, type “chkdsk H:/F” and click “OK” (H: is your SD card drive letter, /F is the repair parameter).
4. After the repair is complete, the DOS window will automatically close.
5. At this point, when you open the SD card, you will miraculously find that it can be opened, and none of the files will be lost.
