Hello everyone, the PS5 hacking method introduced a few days ago has caught the attention of many friends. Due to the complicated steps, many friends have asked if there is a simpler method. In just a few days, a quick evolution has appeared online, so today we will provide you with a simpler tutorial.

Thanks to the relentless efforts of the experts, offline injection methods like PS4 have recently emerged, with high success rates and strong stability.

Today’s tutorial is even more practical, and you can combine it with the previous one. If you have version 4.03 and enjoy tinkering, you can get started.

All tools mentioned in the article can be extracted by clicking “Read Original” at the bottom left!

1. Browser Installation

First of all, you should know that PS5 does not come with a browser to prevent hacking.

However, the system actually has a built-in browser. By going to Settings/User Guide, we can access the web, but it’s cumbersome to go through the User Guide every time, so we need to install a shortcut to the browser.

Next, let’s briefly discuss the steps, for detailed methods refer to:

(1) Be sure to go to Settings/System/System Software Update Settings and select to turn off “Automatic Updates”!!!

(2) Connect to the network, go to PS5 Network Settings/Advanced Settings, change your primary DNS to “165.227.83.145” and secondary DNS to “192.241.221.79”.

(3) Return to the Settings menu, open “User Guide, Health and Safety, and Other Information/User Guide”, when prompted for a security certificate, select “Yes” to enter.

Press the L2 button twice, enter the URL “https://ps5.psgo.eu.org/debug”, click the “submit” button, and wait about 20 seconds for it to load. If it pops up “Insufficient Memory”, click confirm. If there are frequent pop-ups or it freezes, please restart and retry from the first step.

Once successful, press the PS button to return to the home screen.

(4) Copy the InternetBrowserPS5.pkg file you obtained to a USB drive and plug it into the PS5. Go to Settings, scroll down to open the debug menu, select game installer, and install the browser file.

Note that this is the process of installing the browser; we have not yet obtained permission to install games, further tinkering is required.

The preparatory work is complete, and you won’t need to repeat it in the future.

2. Web Injection

(1) This is currently the simplest injection method. First, open Settings/System/Web Browser, delete cookies and clear website data, when “successfully loaded” pops up in the upper left corner, do not press the O button! Long press the PS button to return to the home screen!

(2) Clear the DNS in your network settings. Open the browser you just installed, enter the URL “https://ps5.psgo.eu.org”, and select [Fully Automatic] for the 4.03 system (web automatic injection bin without PC…).

(3) Wait about 20 seconds. If “Insufficient Memory” pops up, close it. Wait until the upper left corner shows “waiting,” which indicates successful injection.

At this point, press the PS button to return to the home screen, open Settings/Debug Settings/Game Installer, and you can normally install the PKG game files from the external device.

3. Offline Injection:

Some friends feel that being online is not very safe, and who knows when the official will force an update.

At this time, you can use a microchip to set up a network specifically for injecting PS5.

Common chips include ESP8266 and ESP32. The ESP32 chip is the next generation of the 8266, supporting WiFi and Bluetooth, with advantages of low power consumption and good RF performance. You can search for “PS4 ESP32” online to purchase it, priced around 20 yuan.

We also provide firmware for ESP8266 and ESP32, and you can choose freely.

(1) Take this style of ESP32 as an example, press the flashing button while inserting it into the PC, Windows 10 will automatically install the driver.

Open the downloaded flashing software NodeMCU PyFlasher, and set it as shown in the picture below. Select COM port according to actual situation, use the rainbow firmware PS5TEST2.bin, after selection, click Flash NodeMCU to flash it, and wait for the process to reach 100%.

The flashing process for 8266 and ESP32 is similar.

(3) After flashing is complete, plug it into the USB port of the PS5, find the WiFi named “PS5TEST2” in the network settings, and connect to it with the default password 12345678.

(4) Enter from the User Guide, when prompted for a certificate, still select “Yes”, and then wait for automatic injection to complete on the opened page. When “waiting” appears in the upper left corner, press the PS button to return to the home screen.

(5) Go to Settings/Debug Settings/Game Installer, and you can normally install homebrew software.

Finally, currently, the PS5 can only be tinkered with version 4.03, and can only install PS4 games. Friends with other versions, please be patient, as there should be news released soon, and we will keep you updated.
