There has always been controversy surrounding circuit board copying. The following is the definition of circuit board copying:PCB copying, also known as PCB reverse design, PCB reverse development, circuit board cloning, and circuit board replication, has made it easy for many countries to understand the technology behind products produced by other countries, greatly promoting the development of electronic technology in developing countries.Of course, many people profit from copying boards, which constitutes theft of the original products. With the development of electronic technology, this practice is gradually losing recognition in the industry.The technical implementation process of PCB copying can be summarized in the following three steps:

1. First, scan the circuit board to be copied, record the detailed positions of the components, then disassemble the components to create a Bill of Materials (BOM) and arrange for material procurement.

2. Scan the bare board into an image and process it with copying software to restore it to a PCB layout file.

3. Send the PCB file to the board factory for production. Once the board is made, solder the purchased components onto the produced PCB, and then conduct circuit board testing and debugging.

As a reverse engineering technique, copying requires complex technology to achieve.Thus, regardless of the type of ink, copying relies on technology to replicate the original product 1:1. Transparent ink can make the outer layer of the circuit more visible, but it is obviously impossible to copy a board with the naked eye, so there is no need to worry about the issue of being copied!
