On August 12, the 2025 World Robot Competition Beijing Championship concluded at the Yichuang International Exhibition Center in Beijing. The “Yizhong Science and Innovation” team from Tongwei No. 1 High School, consisting of members Yao Jiewen and He Jianghong, won the championship in the “DOBOT Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge – Lunar Landing Challenge for Secondary Schools”. This marks their second consecutive championship in this event, following their victory in 2022.
In this competition, the “Yizhong Science and Innovation” team members qualified for the finals with a perfect score, competing against over 60 participants from countries and regions including China, Mexico, and Ethiopia. They ultimately secured the championship with stable performance and outstanding results.
In recent years, the Tongwei No. 1 High School representative team has achieved 3 championships and 1 third place in the World Robot Competition Youth Robot Design Competition, with a total of 9 individual awards. We believe that the completion and utilization of the “Science and Innovation Building” project at Tongwei No. 1 High School will further optimize the school’s technological education environment, contribute to the cultivation of innovative talents, and promote the high-quality and diverse development of general high school education.
