Installing and Running Mu Editor on Raspberry Pi
Installation Command
sudo apt install mu
It’s that simple
As a pseudo-geek, I love Raspberry Pi, Python, Microbit, and writing small programs to improve my work efficiency and enjoy the fun of programming.
Mu Editor is an excellent beginner-friendly editor. Besides installing it on Windows, I also hope to run it on my Raspberry Pi. After collecting a lot of information, I finally found the simplest method, which is the most prominent sentence above: sudo apt install mu. In the Linux world, installing software is as simple as that. I worked hard to find this simplest method and hope it can bring convenience to everyone. It can also be installed similarly on systems like Ubuntu.
Mu Editor is a beginner-friendly editor with a small learning curve, but it currently has a significant drawback: its support for Chinese is very limited. Since Mu saves files in ANSI format, it only supports English characters and has insufficient support for Chinese characters. However, I still have high hopes for this software.
