Main network ultra-high voltage lines are expected to accelerate collection next year, state-owned enterprise leaders are expected to deliver performance elasticity, and the “14th Five-Year Plan” is promising—We expect the investment amount in ultra-high voltage to increase by over 50% year-on-year, with about 20+ new ultra-high voltage direct current lines and 15+ alternating current lines, where the penetration rate of high-value flexible direct current is optimistically expected to reach over 50%. Meanwhile, overseas expansion and humanoid robots also provide long-term growth points for industrial control companies. 1) Demand side: The industry is still at a relatively low point, with traditional industries performing well through indirect overseas expansion and replacements in 2024. In 2025, we anticipate a recovery in domestic demand, and the new energy sector, which has been a drag, is expected to stabilize in 2025. In Q4, we have observed that lithium battery CAPEX has turned positive, and the decline in photovoltaics has narrowed due to a low base. We expect demand for industrial control to turn positive with a growth of 0-3% next year. 2) Supply side: The trend of domestic substitution continues, while domestic capital accelerates overseas expansion, establishing overseas sales, R&D, and manufacturing systems, while also positioning itself in the core components and assemblies of humanoid robots, expected to begin industrialization in 2025 and gradually contribute to performance growth.
Humanoid Robots & AI Electrical Equipment: AI accelerates the empowerment of traditional industries, ushering in the era of embodied intelligence and creating incremental investment opportunities in power grids & industrial control. 1) Humanoid Robots: In 2024, domestic and foreign giants will all enter the field to accelerate the industry, with expectations for Tesla to release Gen3 and designated suppliers in the T chain, entering a year of mass production in 2025, with an expected output of 3000-5000 units; the NV chain focuses on chip and robot development platforms, paying attention to opportunities among ecosystem partners; the HW chain may be in a supply chain cultivation period, with intelligent selection models expected to be replicated in humanoids. From a certainty perspective, it is currently advisable to prioritize direct cooperation with leading companies > sample submissions to Tier 1 > Tier 2 companies with corresponding component layouts. 2) AI Electrical Equipment: AI drives cabinets to evolve towards hundreds of kW-MW levels, with power consumption increases driving technological changes in energy conversion stages, related equipment will see price increases and changes in structure: Changes in electric energy flow are shifting from UPS to HVDC direct distribution, and AC-DC is becoming high power, which will indirectly cause price increases due to supply-demand tensions in IDC front-end energy infrastructure. Thermal energy flow is transitioning from air cooling to cold plate liquid cooling, and in the long term, to immersion liquid cooling, with overseas leaders accelerating acquisitions of liquid cooling components.
